1000 Rosaries Challenge

The month of October is the month of the Rosary.

October 7th is the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary.

Sunday, October 9th is the National Day of the Rosary and we are asked to specifically pray for the United States of America.

And, Saint Katharine Drexel Parish is having a challenge of praying 1,000 rosaries for the Holy Church and the world.

For each complete rosary prayed this month (retroactive to the 1st), you are invited to place a white rosebud from the circular dish into the tall glass vase on the Rosary Challenge Table located in the narthex.

On Sunday, October 23rd at 12 p.m. we will pray a Family Rosary following the 11:00 a.m. Mass.

Special thanks to Becky Stains and Stella Kulp for championing this program.

Limited copies of Catholic Answers’ 20 Answers ROSARY and The 15 promises of the Holy Rosary (as presented on the website are available by the display.
