Job Opening – Administrative Assistant


Reports directly to the Pastor or his designate; responsible for the daily operation for the parish office, including clerical work and minor administrative and business details.

Greeting visitors and making them feel welcome, responding to general questions, answering the telephone, parish calendar, mail, correspondence, reports, memos, data entry, parish bulletin, photocopying, other related tasks as assigned; working with the Parish Manager and other people in the parish office as well as the other parish pastoral staff.

This position is evolving in this time of transition and requires a mature, detailed-oriented individual with above average keyboard skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and follow instructions, guidelines as well as working independently.

Trustworthiness, reliability and a willingness to maintain confidentiality and the ability to complete routine and delegated assignments in  timely manner are essential.

Salary and benefits provided according to parish and diocesan guidelines commensurate with education and experience.

This position is full time -30 hours and is available as of August 2018. Deadline for applications/resume is July 27.
