I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the St. Katharine Drexel community for your love and support over the past four years. Our family was welcomed by all of you when we moved into the parish in 2016. Thank you also for all the prayers and support during my journey to ordination to the Diaconate.
A special thanks to Father Smith for his guidance and mentorship. To the Knights of Columbus, Council of Catholic Women, and the parish staff for all the behind the scenes work that made last weekend’s celebration so beautiful and so joyous.
Bishop Gainer has assigned me to SKD. I look forward to continuing our faith journey together and look forward to ministering to our parish family. As Bishop McFadden used to say, Please pray for me, as I pray for you.
Yours in Christ,
Deacon Scott
