Volunteering at a soup kitchen is a wonderful way to help those less fortunate and to remind us of our abundant blessings. Saint Katharine Drexel Church has two groups of volunteers that alternate every other Monday from noon until 1:30 p.m. at the Saint Francis Soup Kitchen, 1459 Zarker Street, Harrisburg. The soup kitchen serves a hot cafeteria lunch to over 150 people every day. If you would like to get involved in this ministry or would like more information, contact Joanie McDonnell at (717) 761-7922.
