The Vatican restructures 6 Irish Dioceses under 3 Bishops
Interesting and historic times in the Irish Catholic Church this week as (6) dioceses will be shepherded by only (3) bishops rather than (6). At this point, the dioceses will still remain independent as they have been for over 900 years.
This announcement is timely. As our pastor and fellow pilgrims will be arriving in Ireland this week to tour many of the places being impacted.
